SBS EQUINE was co-founded in 1985 by Dr. Richard Shakalis and Dr. John Pautienis. As researchers for SBS, they are considered the fathers of modern hoof conditioners. Their work has led to the development of groundbreaking repair and disease control methods now used in equine hoof care.
