Bucas Smartex Extra 300 g winter outdoor rug

Bucas Smartex Extra 300 g is an excellent choice when durability, a good fit and versatile protection for changing weather conditions are required.

The 1680D Ballistic Nylon outer fabric is designed to withstand active outdoor use. The waterproof and breathable construction protects against the elements while helping to move excess moisture away from inside the rug. The 300 g heat-bonded polyester filling provides good insulation, making the rug suitable even for the coldest winter days.

Special attention has been paid to fit and freedom of movement. The shaped front and shoulder darts provide a good fit and give the shoulders plenty of room to move. The soft, smooth nylon lining around the shoulders enhances comfort and helps reduce rubbing.

One of the key features of the rug is the antibacterial-treated Stay-Dry lining, which helps move moisture away from the horse’s skin. The rug can be put directly onto a damp horse, for example after training or washing. The Stay-Dry lining helps the horse dry while keeping the lining dry against the skin.

The Click'n Go front fastening with magnetic Snap-lock closure makes the rug quick and easy to put on. Cross surcingles, elasticated leg straps and a tail strap help keep the rug securely in place even when the horse is moving.

The rug has attachment points for a Smartex neck cover and Bucas Liners, Quilts and Coolers. Neck cover sold separately.
