When our horses walk in bare pastures, they can ingest large amounts of sand and gravel, which can accumulate in the intestine and cause the horse to develop sand colic. Some horses become restless easily and then go and pick up what they can get, which means that they can also ingest, for example, cones and bark. To help the horse transport this unwanted material out of the gut, psyllium seeds can be used. The shell of the psyllium seed forms a sticky mucus on contact with liquid and then effectively takes sand and gravel out of the intestine. Psyllium (flea seed) has long been used successfully in this way for horses.

Psyllium also has a generally good effect on the function of the intestine by keeping the intestinal movements going in a good way. Eclipse Biofarmab's high quality requirements have resulted in us choosing to use whole flea seeds in our product because they have a better slime-forming ability and a much longer durability in the stable's varying climate. Some horses are picky and may find the flea seeds taste and smell a little strange. To accommodate these horses, Eclipse Biofarmab has also launched Flea Seed with apple flavor. These flea seeds contain an apple extract to increase the palatability without adding unnecessary sugar.

Area of ​​use: When operating on bare ground and for normal intestinal function when consuming other than grass & fodder.
Analytical components: Crude ash 2.8%, crude protein 16.9%, crude fat and crude oil 6.1%, vegetable fiber 20%. Feeding instructions: Maintenance: 100g / day (approx. 1.5 dl) in the feed for up to 30 days.
For therapeutic use: 300g / day (approx. 4.5 dl) for 5 days (only in consultation with a veterinarian). Dosage calculated for horses weighing 500 - 600 kg; halved for small horse / pony. Can be given in both dry and soaked feed: When dry, the horse should have free access to water. When soaking, mix with soaked feed just before feeding.
