Equitare Lunging Aid

The simple and effective lunging aid that will encourage the horse to work over his back into an even contact. Learning to stretch forward-downward is important for a health of the horse’s back. This lunging aid is easy to fit and use. The soft rope of is gentle against the horse’s body and only applies pressure when the horse hollows through the topline. Thereby the horse is rewarded when he softens and goes correctly, effectively encouraging the horse to work correctly. There is no girth needed. Usage: 1.Place the lunging aid COTTON centrally over the withers 2.Lead both ends from the back through the front legs and hook them into the bit rings. We recommend attaching the lunge rein to a correctly fitted cavesson rather than the bit rings as the latter will conflict with the lunge aid’s contact to the horse’s mouth and tend to pull the bit to one side. The cord must not be adjusted too short. Watch out- if the cord is too long, it may hit the horses legs or the horse may step on them. Be careful when using tendon boots as the cord could get stuck in them.
