Microfiber retention harness with quick-release closure clip, 4-point rear fastening that contours the neck and comes with chin protection. Rear adjustment dial for a perfect fit. Equipped with the patented MIPS brain protection system. The MIPS system, "Multi-Directional Impact Protection System," integrated into this helmet, is the result of nearly 20 years of study and research. Its principle is simple: mimic and play the role of the cerebrospinal fluid in which our brain "floats." During an impact, the MIPS system will absorb the impact energy by allowing the skull to slide along the liner. Rotational forces will thus be better dissipated, and the brain will not impact the skull, providing better protection against oblique impacts.
