Purpose: Flexineb® is a unique Portable respiratory nebulizer that produces very fine inhalable vapor. It works as an airway opener and a treatment tool for breathing difficulties and most respiratory diseases. With Flexineb, you can dose Saline, Balsam, Eucalyptus, as well as Antibiotics for inflamed lungs and medicines for the treatment of lungs and airways by veterinarians and clinics. Medication through an inhaler is effective and pleasant, also for the horse. The care giver is responsible for safe use. Always consult a veterinarian before starting treatments.

Safety: When you use Flexineb for the first time, remember that it is also the first time for the horse. Caution must be exercised. Open the sole valve fully open so that the horse can breathe normally. Place the mask from below Softly around the safety so that the mouth and nostrils are covered. When the horse is breathing normally and is used to the device, close the bottom valve. Treatment can be started. If the horse resists the mask, be patient and let him look and smell it before trying to put it back on. If the horse starts to get scared during the treatment, you can slightly open the bottom valve, so the horse can breathe more easily. In an emergency, the bottom valve can be pulled out completely so that the horse can breathe normally. Although the material of the mask is soft, it also has hard plastic parts. The user should be aware that the device can cause danger if the horse shakes its head violently.

Instructions:

Use of the Flexineb nebulizer

Read the intended use and safety instructions before use

Check that the intake and exhaust air valves move freely before placing on the horse

Turn and open the exhaust air valve on the base to allow the horse to breathe freely during the familiarization phase

Fill the medicine cup and place it in place
Close the bottom valve when the horse has familiarized himself with the device

Press the device on the controller. The spraying starts after a few seconds

You can see how the aerosol chamber fills with inhaling mist and empties when the horse breathes.

The controller will turn itself off after about 18 minutes or when it is pressed off

To charge the battery, just use the device's own charger

Tip

Walking the horse calmly during the treatment makes the horse relax and breathe more deeply.

Maintenance and cleaning

medicine cup:
Cleaning: It is important to wash the medicine cup after each use to minimize clogging and malfunctions. Always protect the connector end with the included protection before washing. Open the blue cap and add 2-3 drops of mild dishwashing detergent to the cup (do not use dishwasher detergent) and fill with clean water. BATTERY WATER, because it contains less precipitation-causing salts than ordinary water. Close the cap, shake vigorously for about 15 seconds, at the same time pressing the cap so that the washing water pushes through the medicine cup. Open the cap, empty and rinse thoroughly on both sides with clean/distilled water. Shake off excess water and leave to dry upside down before next use. Sometimes it's good to steam just pure water through a medicine cup.

Disinfection: The surfaces of the medicine cup can be wiped from the outside with a cleaning cloth.

Do not immerse the medical cup in water or detergent!
Do not steam chemical cleaning agents through the device!
Do not use sharp objects for cleaning purposes!

The medicine cup is a wearing part and its life is affected by the substances to be steamed and the number of times it is used. The medicine cup must be renewed from time to time.

It is recommended to carry a spare medical cup!

Mash:
Cleaning: Can be washed with warm water and dishwashing detergent if necessary. Shake off excess water and allow to dry before next use

Disinfection: Remove all parts from the mask and Wash them thoroughly with warm water and dish soap, rinse and let dry. Disinfect all parts with antibacterial wipes before reassembling the device.

Guide:
To maintain functionality, the controller must be protected from getting wet and stored in a dry place protected from dirt and dust. The device must not cool or freeze.

   To take care of the battery life, charge the battery every time the green indicator light starts flashing to indicate low battery power.

Never dip or submerge the controller in liquid!

Warranties

Mask (excluding valves), Controller (excluding battery), Cable and Power source (charger): 24 months.

Battery: 6 months.

The medical cup and valves are wearing parts. The service life of the medicine cup largely depends on the medicines used and ain 

about the prevention, the times of use, the thoroughness of the cleaning and the mineral content of the water used in the cleaning. The medical cup and valves are not covered by the warranty.
Damages caused by misuse or careless handling will not be compensated.
