Perfect for supporting young riders as they take their first jumps! Weighing only 2.6 kg, the saddle is exceptionally lightweight and easy to handle. It is designed to adapt to the shape and proportions of ponies and young horses. The crescent-shaped gullet arch helps protect the withers from pressure and injury, while the separate panels protect the spine by keeping the dorsal column clear and help prevent the saddle from slipping. The flaps also provide protection along the ponys sides. The seat, cantle and stirrup bars are designed to encourage a correct riding position and provide stability. Forward-cut flaps and knee blocks support a secure leg position, making the saddle particularly suitable for jumping. A crupper ring allows a crupper to be attached for additional stability. The seat, flaps and panels are made from soft and durable full-grain leather. The saddle features a removable front handle. The maximum recommended rider weight is 50 kg for sizes 15.5" and 16.5". For heavier riders, the use of a saddle pad is recommended. Material: Full-grain leather. Care: Oil new leather with a neatsfoot-type leather oil. Clean regularly with glycerin soap and nourish the leather with leather balm or grease. Size guide: 12.5" for children aged 2–3 years, 13.5" for children aged 3–4 years, 15.5" for children aged 5–11 years, and 16.5" for riders aged 12 years and older.
