Komperdell Junior Zip is extremely lightweight, breathable and flexible body protector for children. It has further improved ergonomic cut that offers 360° all around protection. Multilayer construction offers great fit, the body protector gets softer the longer the protector is worn. Front zipper and integrated widht adaption makes it very easy and comfortable to use. For the body protector to work optimally, it cannot be too large. Body protectors should be fitted over the type of clothing you intend to ride in. Because a body protector is meant to fit closely to your torso, most riders generally wear one over lightweight clothing, such as a ventilated riding shirt or jersey, with heavier garments and outerwear worn on top. If you intend to wear your body protector over heavier clothing, be sure to measure for and try it while wearing these garments. The protector must cover the breast bone and collar bones, with the front section extending two to three centimetres below the lowest rib. The back section must cover everything from the prominent bone at the base of the neck down to the caudal vertebra. It is important that the protector is not too long so that it catches and rides up when you sit in the saddle. This will make it uncomfortable and unsafe to use.
